BrewHarbor is a free quiz that recommends coffee machines. There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email.

What we collect

• Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4). Pages viewed, quiz steps completed, buttons clicked, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type. Your quiz answers (drink types, effort level, budget range, region) are sent as anonymous events so we can improve the recommendations.
• Session insights (Microsoft Clarity). Clarity records how visitors scroll and click, including session replays and heatmaps, so we can find confusing parts of the site. Clarity masks text you type.
• Feedback you choose to give. If you rate your results or type a comment in the feedback box, that text is sent to Google Analytics along with your quiz answers. Please don't include personal details in it.
• Hosting logs. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies to tell repeat visits apart. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a "Check price on Amazon" button, you go to Amazon, which may set its own cookies to attribute the purchase. Amazon's privacy notice applies on its site. Affiliate earnings never affect which machines the quiz recommends.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, run ads, or build profiles of individual visitors. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
